Launch your site
Launch with confidence
Check the details that help a visitor become a customer. Start here before sharing your new website.
- Who this helps
- Every business owner, on any hosting plan.
- Before starting
- Have the live website address, a phone, and access to the business inbox ready.
- Done when
- A customer can find the right service, contact the business, and receive a reply.

01
Make the offer clear
A visitor should quickly understand the service, the area covered, and the next step.
- State the main service and real service area in the first heading.
- Choose one main action, such as Request a quote or Book an appointment.
- Describe what happens next. Use a response time that the team can meet.
Example: Interior painting in Austin. Request a quote. We reply within one business day. Use only details that match the business.
02
Replace every placeholder
Small errors can send a customer to the wrong place. Read the site as a first-time visitor.
- Check the business name, phone, email, hours, service area, and prices on every page.
- Remove sample reviews, stock claims, expired offers, and services that the business does not provide.
- Use real project photos with permission. Check that all contact links reach the business.
- Open both the root domain and www address. Confirm that both reach the preferred HTTPS address.
03
Complete a customer journey
A working button is only one part of the test. Confirm that the request reaches a person who can respond.
- Open the live site on a phone using mobile data.
- Find a service and submit a clearly labelled test enquiry.
- Check the confirmation, destination inbox, spam folder, and any lead dashboard.
- Reply to the test request. Confirm that the reply arrives.
- Test phone links and any external booking page separately.
The default No hosting contact form prepares an email in the visitor's mail app. The visitor must send it. It does not store a Webrenew lead.
04
Check mobile access and readability
Customers may use one hand, a keyboard, a small screen, or assistive technology.
- Check menus, forms, and long text on a narrow phone screen.
- Use Tab and Enter to reach and activate links and form controls.
- Zoom to 200 percent. Check that text remains readable and controls remain usable.
- Describe useful images in alt text. Keep form labels visible and errors specific.
- Keep the contact action clear when a cookie banner or chat widget appears.
05
Plan the first month
Use this sequence as a starting plan. Adjust it to the time available and the business's busiest periods.
- Week 1: finish the launch checks and confirm that every enquiry reaches the team.
- Week 2: complete the SEO and Search Console guides. Update the Google Business Profile if eligible.
- Week 3: verify analytics and one meaningful conversion before paying for traffic.
- Week 4: review enquiries and won work. Improve the page where customers most often get stuck.
Do not judge a new site only by traffic. Keep a record of qualified enquiries, quotes, and completed jobs.
